Patricia Bachand currently resides in Texas, though her heart remains in her beloved Wyoming. This is her debut book, and while she leaves open the possibility of future projects, she treasures this milestone as a deeply personal achievement.

Her inspiration to write stems from family—her father, who penned a short autobiography in his eighties, and her mother, who always encouraged her to share her own story. Patricia hopes readers will find meaning in her journey, which she describes as a balance of both suffering and joy.
